2024.07.08성남문화재단 X 영국왕립예술학교(RCA) 전시회 후원 참여

JDW가 영국 왕립예술학교(RCA)와 성남아트센터가 주관한 전시 ‘도시를 다시 상상하다’에 함께했습니다.

이 전시는 어린이부터 시니어까지 다양한 지역 구성원이 재생 소재를 활용해 ‘기억하는 성남’, ‘꿈꾸는 성남’을 만들어보는 워크숍 형태로 진행되었습니다.

JDW도 지역 예술 활동의 의미를 더하기 위해 함께 참여했습니다.


JDW participated in the exhibition “Reimagining the City,” hosted by the Royal College of Art and Seongnam Arts Center.

The workshop-style event brought together citizens of all ages to create their own versions of Seongnam using recycled materials, sharing memories and ideas for a better city.

JDW contributed to support this creative community initiative.

매년 1월 라스베이거스에서 열리는 CES에 올해도 두 명의 JDW 디자이너가 참관했습니다.

글로벌 IT·로봇·AI·가전의 최신 트렌드와 신기술을 현장에서 경험하며 인사이트를 확장했습니다.


Two JDW designers attended CES in Las Vegas this January.

They explored the latest trends and technologies across IT, robotics, AI, and consumer electronics to broaden insights for future projects.





2023.12.042023 GOOD DESIGN AWARD

JDW가 디자인한 세스코의 실내 포충등 ‘블루온 아트’가 2023 굿디자인어워드 브론즈 프라이즈를 수상했습니다.

저전력 UV LED를 적용해 효율과 내구성을 높였으며, 단순한 사각 형태와 하단 무드조명으로 인테리어와 조화를 이루는 디자인이 특징입니다. ‘포충등처럼 보이지 않는 포충등’이라는 콘셉트로 기능과 미감을 모두 인정받았습니다.


JDW’s design, CESCO’s indoor insect trap ‘BlueOn Art,’ won the Bronze Prize at the 2023 Good Design Award.

Using energy-efficient UV LEDs and a minimal square form with ambient lighting, it blends naturally into interiors under the concept of “a bug trap that doesn’t look like one.”





2024.12.042023 GOOD DESIGN AWARD

JDW에서 디자인한 NF의 개인용 산소 디퓨저 02REX가 2023 굿디자인어워드에서 브론즈 프라이즈로 선정되었습니다.

일상 공간에서도 조용하고 쾌적하게 사용할 수 있는 프리미엄 산소 디퓨저로, 간결한 형태와 섬세한 디테일이 높은 평가를 받았습니다.


NF’s personal oxygen diffuser, 02REX, designed by JDW, was selected as a Bronze Prize winner at the 2023 Good Design Award.

The product’s refined form and quiet functionality were recognized for enhancing everyday comfort through understated yet elegant design.





2023.12.042023 GOOD DESIGN AWARD

JDW에서 디자인 및 기구설계를 진행한 Huenit이 2023 굿디자인어워드에서 은상을 수상하였습니다.

Huenit은 모듈 교체를 통해 다양한 작업을 수행할 수 있는 AI 기반 로봇 플랫폼으로, 기술과 디자인의 조화를 높이 평가받았습니다.


Huenit, designed and engineered by JDW, received the Silver Prize at the 2023 Good Design Award.

The AI-based modular robot platform was recognized for its innovative structure and the seamless integration of technology and design.





2023.08.042023 JDW 상반기 워크샵

7월 20일부터 1박 2일간 JDW와 DODS 가족들이 함께 강릉으로 워크숍을 다녀왔습니다.

이번 워크숍은 2023년 상반기를 돌아보고 서로의 노고를 격려하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

오랜만에 한자리에 모여 즐거운 추억을 만들며 팀워크를 더욱 단단히 다질 수 있었습니다.

남은 하반기에도 끊임없는 열정으로 성장하며 더 나은 디자인으로 보답하겠습니다.


From July 20th to 21st, JDW and DODS team members gathered in Gangneung for a two-day workshop.

The event served as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the first half of 2023 and appreciate each team’s dedication.

It was a joyful time to reconnect, strengthen teamwork, and share inspiration for the months ahead.

JDW will continue to move forward with passion and deliver even greater design achievements in the second half of the year.





2023.12.042023 IF DESIGN AWARD_02REX

JDW가 디자인 및 기구설계를 진행한 NF의 02REX가 2023 iF Design Award를 수상하였습니다.

02REX는 프리미엄 개인용 산소 토출기로, 주로 침실 환경에 설치되어 사용자의 호흡 환경을 쾌적하게 유지하도록 설계되었습니다.

정제된 형태와 미니멀한 인터페이스를 통해 기능성과 심미성을 조화롭게 담아낸 디자인으로 높은 평가를 받았습니다.


JDW’s design and engineering project, NF’s 02REX, has received the 2023 iF Design Award.

02REX is a premium personal oxygen generator primarily designed for bedroom use, providing users with a comfortable and clean breathing environment.

Its refined form and minimal interface harmonize functionality and aesthetics, earning recognition for its balanced and thoughtful design.





2023.07.142023 Red Dot Design Award _Modularer Roboterarm

JDW가 디자인한 SUPERNOVA의 Modular Robot Arm이 ‘2023 Red Dot Design Award’ Product 부문 Winner로 선정되었습니다.

이 제품은 교육을 기반으로 한 로봇 플랫폼으로, 사용자가 학습과 실습을 통해 로보틱스의 원리를 직관적으로 이해할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.

모듈형 구조를 통해 다양한 툴과 기능을 확장할 수 있어, 교육을 넘어 연구와 프로토타이핑 등 폭넓은 활용이 가능한 점이 높이 평가되었습니다.


JDW’s design, the Modular Robot Arm by SUPERNOVA, has been selected as a Winner in the Product Design category of the 2023 Red Dot Design Award.

Designed as an education-based robotic platform, it enables users to intuitively explore the principles of robotics through hands-on experience.

Its modular architecture allows easy expansion with various tools and functions, extending its use beyond education to research and prototyping applications.





2023.01.10CES 2023 INNOVATION AWARD_WaterStation

JDW에서 디자인한 K-WATERCRAFT의 WaterStation이 ‘CES 2023’ 혁신상을 수상하였습니다.

WaterStation은 수소연료전지를 기반으로 한 친환경 발전 시스템으로, 지속 가능한 에너지 솔루션을 제시하는 미래형 디자인으로 주목받고 있습니다.


JDW’s design, the WaterStation by K-WATERCRAFT, received the CES 2023 Innovation Award.

Powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, WaterStation presents a sustainable energy solution with a design that embodies both efficiency and environmental responsibility.





2023.01.022023 CES Innovation award, iT Award

(주)제이디자인웍스에서 디자인한 HUENIT – AI Camera & Modular Robot Arm이 ‘CES 2023’ 혁신상과 ‘Global Design iT Award 2022’ Product 부문 GRAND PRIZE를 수상하였습니다.

HUENIT은 인공지능 기반의 카메라 모듈과 교체형 로봇 암을 결합한 차세대 로보틱 플랫폼으로, 기술적 혁신성과 디자인 완성도를 동시에 인정받았습니다.


JDW’s design, HUENIT – AI Camera & Modular Robot Arm, was honored with the CES 2023 Innovation Award and the Global Design iT Award 2022 Grand Prize in Product Design.

As an AI-powered modular robotic platform, HUENIT was recognized for its advanced functionality and refined design integration, exemplifying JDW’s commitment to innovation through design.

매년 12월, 제이디자인웍스에서는 제비뽑기를 통해 마니또를 정하고 정체를 숨긴 채 선행과 선물을 나누는 마니또 행사를 진행합니다.

2022년에도 어김없이 모두가 정성껏 준비한 선물을 함께 열어보며 웃음이 가득한 시간을 보냈습니다.

서로에게 전한 따뜻한 마음처럼, 다가오는 2023년에도 좋은 일들로 가득한 한 해가 되길 바랍니다.
