JDW는 새해를 맞아 부서장 및 팀장 리더십 교육을 진행했습니다.

지속 가능한 성장과 글로벌 디자인 기업으로의 도약을 위해 다양한 과제를 함께 고민하는 시간이었습니다.

진행을 맡아주신 이정창 고문님과 강연을 진행해주신 독일의 Lukas Beech 님께 감사드립니다.


To begin the new year, JDW held a leadership training session for department and team leaders.

It was an opportunity to reflect on sustainable growth and the path toward becoming a truly global design company.

Special thanks to Advisor Jung-Chang Lee for leading the session and to Mr. Lukas Beech from Germany for his insightful lecture.





2018.12.302018 연말 워크샵 - 일본 규슈

JDW 전 임직원이 일본 규슈에서 연말 워크숍을 가졌습니다.

한 해의 수고를 따뜻한 온천에서 달래며, 서로의 생각과 이야기를 나누는 시간을 보냈습니다.

끈끈한 팀워크와 새로운 열정으로 2019년에도 신뢰받는 디자인 파트너로 나아가겠습니다.


The JDW team held its year-end workshop in Kyushu, Japan, known for its hot springs.

It was a time to unwind, share experiences, and strengthen connections after a year of hard work.

With renewed energy and collaboration, JDW looks ahead to 2019 as a trusted partner in design.





2018.12.112018 KOREA IT DESIGN AWARD

JDW가 ‘2018 대한민국 IT 디자인어워드’에서 3관왕을 차지했습니다.

삶을 수 있는 가습기 ‘Carepod Mini’가 제품디자인 부문 대상을, 수소수 제조기 ‘Vausen’과 샤오미 차량용 공기청정기 ‘Roidmi P8’이 생활제품 부문 본상을 수상했습니다.

특히 제품디자인 부문에서 2년 연속 대상을 수상하며 JDW의 디자인 경쟁력을 다시 한번 입증했습니다.


JDW has won three awards at the 2018 Korea IT Design Awards.

The “Carepod Mini,” a sterilizable humidifier, received the Grand Prize in Product Design, while the “Vausen” hydrogen water generator and Xiaomi’s “Roidmi P8” car air purifier both earned Excellence Awards in the Lifestyle Product category.

Achieving the top honor for two consecutive years, JDW continues to demonstrate its leadership in design innovation.





2018.11.152018 부서장 X 팀장 워크샵

JDW는 12월 전체 워크숍을 앞두고 각 사업부 부서장과 팀장이 모여 사전 워크숍을 진행했습니다.

이번 회의에서는 2018년의 성과를 돌아보고, 2019년의 목표와 방향을 함께 논의했습니다.

8시간 동안 이어진 집중 토론을 통해 JDW의 지속적인 성장과 더 나은 디자인을 위한 다양한 아이디어가 도출되었습니다.


Ahead of the company-wide workshop in December, JDW held a preliminary session with department heads and team leaders.

The discussion focused on reviewing 2018 achievements and planning key objectives for 2019.

Through eight hours of active dialogue, the team explored ideas to drive sustainable growth and deliver more meaningful design outcomes.





2018.10.30Design Korea 2018_Design Job Fair 참가

JDW가 Design Korea 2018에서 열리는 Design Job Fair에 참가해 2018 하반기 신입 및 경력 제품디자이너를 모집합니다.

또한 한국에서 제품디자인을 전공하는 중국인 유학생을 위한 인턴 프로그램도 함께 운영합니다.

JDW는 역량 있는 디자이너와의 새로운 협업을 기대하며, 미래의 디자이너들과 소통할 수 있는 자리를 준비했습니다.


JDW will participate in the Design Job Fair at Design Korea 2018 to recruit new and experienced product designers for the second half of the year.

An internship program for Chinese students majoring in product design in Korea will also be offered.

JDW looks forward to meeting talented designers and creating an open space for communication with aspiring creatives.





2018.09.07Modular Tent

JDW에서 개발한 모듈형 텐트가 한국패션산업연구원의 풍동 테스트와 소비자 평가에서 우수성을 입증했습니다.

삼각형 모듈을 간편하게 연결해 다양한 형태를 구성할 수 있는 ‘Fun & Easy’ 콘셉트의 제품으로,

확장성이 뛰어나 키즈 아지트, 반려동물 하우스, 조립형 가구 등으로 활용이 가능합니다.


JDW’s modular tent has proven its excellence through wind tunnel testing and user evaluations conducted by the Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry.

Designed with a ‘Fun & Easy’ concept, the triangular modules can be effortlessly connected to create various forms and sizes.

Its flexibility allows applications ranging from kids’ play zones to pet houses and modular indoor furniture.





2018.05.272018 WIS (World IT Show) 참가

JDW가 ‘2018 WIS(World IT Show)’에 참가했습니다.

WIS는 국내 최대 규모의 ICT 전시로, 다양한 기업들이 모여 4차 산업을 이끄는 AI, IoT, AR/VR 기술을 선보였습니다.

JDW는 이번 전시를 통해 기술의 흐름을 직접 체감하며, 새로운 가능성과 디자인의 방향을 모색하는 의미 있는 시간을 가졌습니다.


JDW participated in the 2018 World IT Show (WIS), Korea’s largest ICT exhibition.

The event brought together leading companies showcasing key technologies driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including AI, IoT, and AR/VR.

For JDW, it was an inspiring opportunity to explore emerging trends and share its design perspective within the evolving tech landscape.





2018.04.172018 Hong Kong Electronic Fair

매년 봄, 가을 Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre 에서 열리는 2018 Hong Kong Electronics Fair에 저희 JDW가 참가하였습니다.

세계 각국의 업체에서 다양한 제품을 선보이는 이번 전시회에서 더 새롭고 재미있는 기회가 열리기를 기대합니다.

많은 성원과 관심 부탁드립니다.


JDW participated in the 2018 Hong Kong Electronics Fair held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The event brought together companies from around the world to showcase cutting-edge products and technologies, and JDW presented its latest creative design works.

Through this exhibition, JDW aims to expand global collaboration and explore new opportunities in innovative product design.





2018.04.152018 Red-dot Design Award 수상

JDW에서 디자인한 Xiaomi의 차량용 공기청정기 Roidmi P8이 독일 ‘2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner’로 선정되었습니다.

Roidmi는 Xiaomi의 에코 브랜드로, P8은 간결한 조형과 정제된 마감으로 차량 환경에 어울리는 미니멀 디자인을 구현했습니다.


The Roidmi P8 car air purifier, designed by JDW for Xiaomi, has been selected as a 2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner in Germany.

As part of Xiaomi’s eco-brand Roidmi, the P8 features a minimal form and refined detailing that blend seamlessly into the in-car environment.





2018.04.112018 Red-dot Design Award 수상

JDW에서 디자인한 XGIMI의 포터블 프로젝터 CC가 독일 ‘2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner’로 선정되었습니다.

CC 모델은 2017 한국 IT 어워드 대상과 CES 혁신상, 2018 iF Design Award 본상에 이어 또 한 번 국제 무대에서 인정받았습니다.

JDW와 XGIMI의 협업은 기술과 디자인이 조화된 감각적인 제품으로 계속 발전하고 있습니다.


The portable projector CC, designed by JDW for XGIMI, has been named a 2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner in Germany.

Following its Grand Prize at the 2017 Korea IT Awards, CES Innovation Award, and 2018 iF Design Award, the CC once again received international recognition.

Through continued collaboration, JDW and XGIMI keep creating products that balance technology with refined design.





2018.03.192018 Kobil (코리아 스마트모빌리티 페어) 참가

JDW는 마이웨이 다이나믹스와 협업해 PAS(Pedal Assist System)를 적용한 전기자전거를 개발 중입니다.

일산 킨텍스에서 열린 ‘2018 코빌(Korea Smart Mobility Fair)’에서 컨셉 모델 JDW_E100을 첫 공개해 큰 관심을 받았습니다.

이번 전시를 통해 전기자전거 시장의 가능성과 디자인의 역할을 다시금 확인했습니다.


JDW is developing an electric bicycle equipped with a Pedal Assist System (PAS) in collaboration with MyWay Dynamics.

At the 2018 Korea Smart Mobility Fair held at KINTEX in Ilsan, JDW unveiled its concept model, JDW_E100, which drew strong attention from visitors.

The exhibition reaffirmed the growing potential of the e-bike market and the essential role of design in its evolution.





2018.03.162018 Red-dot Design Award 수상

JDW에서 디자인한 XGIMI의 프리미엄 4K 단초점 프로젝터 T1이 독일 ‘2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner’로 선정되었습니다.

T1은 세련된 조형과 정제된 디테일로 완성된 제품으로, 앞서 2017 CES에서 혁신상을 수상하며 기술력과 디자인 모두에서 주목받았습니다.


The premium 4K ultra-short-throw projector T1, designed by JDW for XGIMI, has been named a 2018 Red Dot Design Award Winner in Germany.

With its refined form and meticulous detailing, the T1 embodies a balance of technology and aesthetics.

Previously, it was recognized with a CES Innovation Award in 2017 for its outstanding design and performance.
